Telangana Medical Council invites Applications for Registrar Post
Hyderabad: The Telangana Medical Council has announced the vacancy for the post of registrar and is now accepting applications. According to the notification issued by the council's chairman, Dr Mahesh Kumar, eligible candidates should be aged between 55 and 65 years and must hold an MBBS degree.
The position, previously held on an interim basis by Dr D. Ramesh, requires candidates to be of civil surgeon or professor rank, with extensive experience in administrative or legal roles. He/She shall be capable to take notes of the proceedings of the meetings of the Council and capable to prepare minutes of the meetings of the Council and its bodies.
The selected candidate will receive a total remuneration package of approximately Rs 90,000. This includes a consolidated pay of Rs 50,000, a special allowance of Rs 25,000, and a conveyance allowance of Rs 15,000. The initial appointment to the post of Registrar shall be for a period of 5 years or on attaining 70 years and will be purely on contract basis. The official working hours for Registrar will be from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If the services of the Registrar is found unsatisfactory by the Council, termination can occur without prior notice.
Interested candidates must submit their applications either in person or by post to the Telangana Medical Council's office. Applications should include a comprehensive bio-data and proof of qualifications and experience. They should be addressed to the Chairman, Telangana Medical Council, Sultan Bazaar, Hyderabad – 500095. The deadline for receipt of applications is 5 pm on June 21.
