ATM van at AIIMS gate helps people avoid rush at banks
New Delhi: Amid the rush at banks and ATM machines, the Punjab National Bank parked a mobile ATM van in front of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the national capital. Serpentine queues were seen at the van, which made it convenient for people to avoid the rush at banks.
A huge number of people were seen at pharmacists near the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday in the national capital as they are still accepting notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 denominations. Despite the government’s order to the hospitals, pharmacists and petrol pumps to accept the banned currency till November 14, many traders and shopkeepers have been reported to accept the Rs.500 and Rs.1,000 currency notes.
