Fire breaks out at Noida Ayurvedic Hospital after AC explosion
A fire broke out on the third floor of a private Ayurvedic hospital in Noida after an AC exploded. Firefighters brought the blaze under control and cleared smoke from the building.
Noida: A fire broke out at a private Ayurvedic hospital in Noida’s Sector-117 on Saturday evening after an air-conditioning unit reportedly exploded, triggering a blaze on the facility’s third floor.
Three fire tenders were deployed to the hospital, where firefighting teams worked to contain the flames and clear thick smoke from the affected portions of the building.
According to Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar Chaubey, the blaze was reported on the third floor of the hospital. Fire officials reached the site shortly after receiving information about the blaze and immediately began firefighting operations to prevent the situation from worsening.
According to the information available, the fire originated in the air conditioner installed in a room used by hospital staff for rest. The AC reportedly exploded, following which flames broke out in the third-floor area.
Hospital staff members were present inside the premises when the incident occurred, prompting an immediate response to the emergency.

However, no patients were present at the hospital at the time of the incident. The facility conducts patient examinations during the morning hours, meaning that the incident occurred when patients were not present inside the hospital premises, reports Amar Ujala.
Although the fire was reported on the third floor, smoke spread to the second floor, creating additional challenges for the firefighting personnel. The teams had to undertake efforts to remove the accumulated smoke from the building and ensure that the affected areas could be cleared.
During the firefighting operation, personnel broke the glass panels of the building to facilitate ventilation and allow the smoke to escape. Firefighters also used modern equipment to remove the smoke from the affected sections of the hospital.
After sustained efforts, the fire was brought under control. Four fire engines were involved in the emergency response, with firefighting personnel working to contain the blaze and manage the smoke inside the building.
