Udham Singh Nagar: Preparations are underway to establish an All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) near the proposed Satellite AIIMS in Kichha, Udham Singh Nagar. The AYUSH Department has initiated the proposed site evaluation, focusing on connectivity, utilities and essential infrastructure requirements for the upcoming institute.
AYUSH Department Additional Secretary Shri Vijay Kumar Jogdande inspected the identified land site and reviewed various infrastructure-related requirements with officials. During the inspection, he directed concerned departments to prepare detailed reports on connectivity, utilities and civic infrastructure required for the proposed institution, reports Amar Ujala.
The Public Works Department has been asked to submit details regarding the distance of the proposed AIIA site from key transport facilities, including the national highway, airport, bus station and railway station.
