Dacoits looted Rs 4 lakh in cash, jewellery and other valuables worth Rs 20 lakh from the house of doctor Jadish Singh by making all family members captives on gunpoint.
Hajipur: Unidentified dacoits looted properties worth lakhs of rupees from the house of a doctor at Mukundpur village under Mahua police station area in Vaishali district late last night.
Police said here today that around eight dacoits looted Rs 4 lakh in cash, jewellery and other valuables worth Rs 20 lakh from the house of doctor Jadish Singh by making all family members captives on gunpoint. The source said an FIR had been registered at the police station concerned in this connection.
Further investigation is on, police added.
