The hospital is duty bound to issue the discharge summary and treatment details. Considering the circumstances and perusing the medical reports and documents, the forum holds that the hospital had committed negligence in providing treatment to Revathy. The petitioner proved his case and the hospital has been directed to pay compensation of Rs 13.56 lakh with interest of 7 per cent per annum.
