Dr. Sandipan Dhar is a Professor and Head, of the Department of Pediatric Dermatology, Institute of Child Health in Kolkata. Pediatric dermatologist and Atopic Dermatitis researcher Dr. Dhar, MBBS, MD, DNB, FRCP, is well-known on a national and international scale. More than 230 scientific publications by Dr. Sandipan Dhar have been published in a variety of national and international journals to far. He served as the Indian Journal of Dermatology's past editor, is the current editor-in-chief of the Indian Journal of Pediatric Dermatology (IJPD). Paediatric dermatology, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, and adverse cutaneous medication eruptions are some of his areas of interest. As the President of the Indian Society for Pediatric Dermatology (ISPD) and Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Pediatric Dermatology, he played a significant role in the development of the subspecialty of "paediatric dermatology" in India ( IJPD).
