DCI issues COVID-19 appropriate guidelines for dental colleges, BDS, MDS students
New Delhi: The DCI has issued COVID-19 guidelines for dental colleges, dental students, and dental professionals enlisting measures to prevent transmission, reduce the impacts of the outbreak, and support control measures.
Through a recent notice, the apex council has requested the authorities to follow the COVID appropriate measures suggested by the council along with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FW) and concerned State Government/Universities from time to time to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus.
Moreover, the Dental Council of India has also made an appeal to the Dental Faculties, Dental Students, and Dental Professionals to volunteer to contribute and serve in this national calling and march in unison with the Government to curb the menace of COVID-19.
The advisory consists of a comprehensive list of various guidelines ranging from academic advisory for the dental colleges for the conduct of online learning, departmental postings, and academic and clinical activities in postgraduate courses to the infection control measures to be followed in dental settings to minimize exposure for staff and patients.
