DCI website unavailable till January 10th
Delhi: The Dental Council of India (DCI) has recently notified that the website will be under maintenance mode from 6:00 pm (7th January 2022) to 10:00 am (10th January 2022) through a written notice on 6th January 2022.
As per the recent notification, the DCI has indicated that it is working on the website improvement for the registered users to have a better experience. It is in the process of implementing a more secure feature on its platform. From 10th January 2022, after 10:00 am, the registered users will be able to use the website.
During the period of maintenance, as per the Dental Council of India, the users will not be able to avail certain services such as login, profile update, NOC applies, search colleges/student-faculty/dentist, etc.
The DCI has mentioned that once the website maintenance is over, then all the website's registered users are required to reset their password by clicking on the "Forgot Password" link on the DCI website home page. The registered users include college, faculty, SDC, dentists. The "Forgot Password" link can be found in the Login to DCI section. The reset password is mandatory for all registered users.
If any registered user is facing any issue resetting the password, they can contact DCI. To contact DCI, the registered users can contact via phone (011-23238542 / 011-23236740) or drop an email (secy-dci@nic.in).
Under The Dentists Act, 1948, the Dental Council of India was incorporated. The purpose is to maintain uniform standards of dental education across India, regulate the curriculum in the training of dentists, dental mechanics, and dental hygienists, and the level of examinations and qualifications. It is financed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and through Grant-in-aid. The General Body of the Dental Council of India represents Central Government, Dental Colleges, Universities, State Government, etc.
