Dismiss Health Minister, Secretary: Stalin demands from TN Government
Mr Stalin said to bring confidence among the public, the blood banks kept in the government hospital should adopt rules and regulations properly.
Radhakrishnan in the incident of HIV positive blood transfusion to a 24-year-old pregnant woman at a Government hospital in the state.

In a press statement here he said that this clearly shows how the state government machinery has completely collapsed.
He urged that in this incident, all the higher officials should be transferred and proper persons should be posted in that places.
He said he is afraid that all the patients who had underwent blood transfusion at the government hospital were not tested.
If this continues the people will afraid to approach government hospital to treat their diseases, he added.
Mr Stalin said to bring confidence among the public, the blood banks kept in the government hospital should adopt rules and regulations properly.
He also said the blood received from the NGO's blood camps should be tested and the state government should come out with an advertisement stating that the government hospital's blood bank is collecting the blood as per rules, he added.
Notably, an HIV infected blood donor in the state, who has been hospitalised after consuming poison, died while undergoing treatment in Government Rajaji Hospital at Madurai in the early hours of Sunday. The blood he had donated was transfused to a pregnant woman on December 3.
The 19-year-old from a village near Kamuthi in Ramanathapuram district donated his blood to a blood bank in Sivakasi on November 30 without knowing his HIV status. The teenager had been working in a cracker unit in Sivakasi.
He donated blood to compensate the blood used for his relative. The blood was transfused to a 24-year-old anaemic pregnant woman in a hospital in Sattur.
The teenager came to know about his HIV status on November 8, when he applied for a job abroad. He reconfirmed it with a private lab in Madurai city and approached the blood bank to alert them. However, the blood had been transfused to the pregnant woman by then.
The youth consumed poison on Wednesday morning after news spread that the HIV positive blood which he had donated had been transfused to the pregnant woman. The hospital doctors has treated him in an Intensive Care Unit and was died today.
