Doctor found dead in Rajasthan residence
Kota: The decomposed body of a 42-year-old doctor was found in his rented room at Godam Talai area in Jhalawar, a police official said.
Dr Anil Agarwal, a native of R K Puram area in Kota, was posted at a Community Health Center in Jhalawars Chaumahla town, SHO Hansraj Singh said.
No suicide note was recovered from the spot and the preliminary investigations suggested that the doctor most likely died of heart failure, he said, adding that he was less likely to have committed suicide.
The official said the body is three to four days old and was found after his neighbours complained of a foul smell.
Agarwal was last seen on October 9 when he went to see off his wife, also a doctor, SI Bhawani Shankar said.
He had been staying in the rented accommodation at Godam Talai area for the last six months, Shankar said.
"The father of the deceased has reached Jhalawar but his wife is yet to come. Nobody in the family contacted the doctor during these four days," the SI said. The body has been sent for postmortem.
