Dr. Ganapathi Bantwal is currently Professor of Endocrinology at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. He served as President of the Endocrine Society of India (2020–2021), and has previously held key leadership positions including Secretary (2006–2009) and Vice President (2013–2014) of the Endocrine Society of India. He has also served as Vice President (2022–2023) and Treasurer of the Karnataka Endocrine Society, and as Joint Secretary of Karnataka RSSDI. Dr. Bantwal is the recipient of several prestigious honors, including the Presidential Oration (2021), Dr. Nada Gouda Oration Award, the 2014 RSSDI Oration Award, and the Dr. Sunil Kumar Basu Oration Award. He has authored over 100 publications in national and international journals and has served as Principal Investigator in more than 80 clinical trials.
