Former Miss World, MBBS Medico Manushi Chhillar bags Elle's Flawless Beauty Award
New Delhi: Manushi Chhillar, an aspiring MBBS Medico, who rose to fame after winning Miss World title in 2017; has recently bagged the 'Flawless Beauty' title for this year at star-studded annual beauty awards of the premium fashion magazine Elle; held earlier this month.
Manushi took admission as an MBBS student in Bhagat Phool Singh Women's Medical College in the academic year 2015-16. After winning the title of Miss India in June 2017, she applied for leave. She entered the Miss World Contest, representing India and bringing back laurels to the country as she bagged the Miss World 2017 title
However, since 2 years, while the beauty icon has seen success in the world of glamour, her road to becoming a doctor has apparently hit a roadblock.
Last year, Manushi was encircled with rumours stating that she had been banned from attending her MBBS examinations.

As she is residing in Mumbai and her family has shifted there, post the Miss World title, she had intended to pursue the remaining part of her MBBS course in Mumbai. For this purpose, she had filed an application seeking migration from Bhagat Phool Singh Women's Medical College to a Mumbai-based medical college. However, allegations shelled up after the NOC was issued by the Pandit BD Sharma University Rohtak, to which the medical college is affiliated to.
It was alleged that Manushi applied for NOC without giving a concrete reason for the migration; besides she had not furnished any document from the medical college she intends to migrate to. Further allegations were that the NOC has been furnished putting the rules on hold for her and without taking permission from the Medical Council of India (MCI).
Now, even with her MBBS dream being on one side, Manushi has won several youth impact awards for her tireless work in the field of women's menstrual hygiene through her social initiative Project Shakti.
For her commendable work and personality, Manushi was recently awarded with Flawless Beauty award by Elle recently, reports MissMalini
Moreover, the Beauty icon is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar in an upcoming biopic.
