Four doctors booked for allegedly filming, circulating Objectionable video of Patient
The video went viral after some government officials, including four doctors, posted at a District Hospital shared the video on social media and on various WhatsApp groups
Jammu: Four doctors have been booked by the police for allegedly filming a female patient while she came in for a medical examination and thereafter releasing the video on social media.
According to media reports, a woman filed a complaint with the police after a video filming her was circulated on the internet. She claimed that the clip was forged and edited which was aimed at outraging her modesty. She mentioned that the video was filmed long back; when she had visited the doctor of a Hospital for a routine checkup.
Thereafter, a case was registered against the doctors for allegedly filming and circulating the objectionable video. The four doctors were later booked, reports the IANS.
After the preliminary investigation, it was found that the video was filmed inside the doctor's clinic and the police also suspected the involvement of an insider in the case.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Yougal Manhas informed that the video went viral after some government officials, including four doctors, posted at a District Hospital shared the video on social media, reports the PTI.
The video was shared on various WhatsApp groups, reports the Indian Express.
The SSP told the Kashmir News Service, "Accused who filmed the video and those who spread this video, especially some officials and four doctors of District hospital now GMC will be dealt strictly under law in the case which has been registered for outraging the modesty of a woman and involves severe punishment."
He further informed that a special investigation team was constituted to conduct a speedy probe into the matter.
