Bihar: Patna High Court today directed Bihar government to reply in three weeks on the issue of scarcity of medicines at government hospitals.
After hearing arguments on public interest litigation filed by a social worker Vikas Chandra alias Guddu Baba, a division bench of Patna High Court headed by Justice S Pandey directed the state government to reply within three weeks on the issue of scarcity of medicines at government hospitals.

The petitioner`s counsel said that there was a huge scarcity of medicines at the government hospitals. Patients were not able to get even general medicines at the government hospitals compelling them to purchase medicines from outside the hospitals, he added.
