New Delhi: PGIMER-RML Hospital New Delhi,  has released 170 vacancies for Senior Residents post on Regular basis. The selection will be done based on the interview and Written Test.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, formerly known as Willingdon Hospital, was established by the British for their staff and had only 54 beds. After independence, its control was shifted to New Delhi Municipal Committee. In 1954, its control was again transferred to the Central Government of Independent India.

The vacancies are in the Department of General Medicine, Nephrology, Surgery, Pediatric, Biochemistry, PMR (Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine), Gastroenterology, Anaesthesia, Endocrinology, Forensic Medicine, Medical Microbiology, Obst. & Gynae., Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Pathology, Transfusion Medicine, Psychiatry, Radiology, and Neonatology.

Senior Resident Vacancy Details:

Total no of Vacancies- 170

Terms & Conditions:

1. The application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- for Un-reserved & OBC Candidates [non-refundable], issued after the date of advertisement, drawn on a scheduled bank in India, in favor of Pay & Accounts Officer, Dr. R.M.L. Hospital, New Delhi payable at New Delhi. SC/ST candidates and Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates are exempted.

2. It must be ensured by the candidates that Application in prescribed form (Annexure-I) along with latest passport size photograph along Self attested copies of all documents should be delivered/received, either through post or by hand, at the Central Diary and Dispatch Section, Near No. 1, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi latest by 30.07.2019.

3. The Hospital will no re si for a tal Incomplete application in any respect will not be considered. All previous applications received in this hospital will be treated as a canceled and only application in response to this Advertisement in the Prescribed form (Annexure-I) will be considered.

4. The list of rejected candidates, after the screening of applications, will be displayed on the Hospital website (www.rmlh.nic.in)/notice board of the HA.II Section latest by 18.08.2019. All representations regarding rejection should be received in the Section latest by 25.08.2019 till 4:00 P.M. No representation will be entertained after the date mentioned above. Crucial date of determination of eligibility about age will be 30.07.2019.

5. The selection will be based on written examination and Interview.

6. The schedule of written examination will be mentioned on the Admit Card.

7. The Admit Card will be uploaded on the hospital website only (www.rmih.nic.in). OBC Candidates should submit the OBC certificate as per Annexure-II with required validity as mentioned at para 5 (b) above.

8. The tenure of Senior Resident is for 03 (three) years including any service rendered earlier as Senior Resident on ad hoc/regular basis in any govt. institution. Under no 7 no circumstances, the total period of Senior Residency shall exceed three years, at the time of Joining PGIMER & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. The appointment will be initially for one year, which could be extended for three years on an annual basis, subject to the satisfactory work and conduct report.

9. Delhi Medical Council registration is mandatory at the time of submission of application.

10. Other service conditions will be applicable as per service condition prescribed from time to time by the Government of India. The candidate who is already in Govt. Service should submit No Objection Certificate from the present employer. Interhospital/Inter-Institutional transfer shall not be permitted.

11. The candidates must submit the copy of following documents (self-attested) along with application form. They should bring the original certificates at the time of interview:

  • Certificate in support of age (10" class passing certificate).

  • Mark Sheet of MBBS (Part I, II and Final Year).

  • MBBS Attempt Certificate.

  • Internship completion certificate.

  • MBBS Degree.

  • PG Attempt Certificate.

  • G. Degree/Diploma/DNB/Provisional Pass Certificate from University.

  • Should be registered with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) for MBBS.

  • Delhi Medical Council (DMC) Registration Certificate for PG/ Acknowledgment for


Registration of DMC for PG 10) Caste/Community/Disability/EWS Certificate where applicable. 11) OBC Certificate only as per Annexure-II with required validity as mentioned at para 5 (b) above.
