Patna: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS Patna) has announced vacancies for the post of Senior Resident (Non Academic) on a contract basis under the Govt. of India Residency Scheme at various departments in this medical institute.
AIIMS, Patna an Autonomous Institute of National Importance is one of the new AIIMS and apex healthcare Institutes established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).

The Vacancies are in the Departments of Anesthesia, Community Medicine, Dermatology, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, Neonatology, Orthopedics, Opthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pathology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Pharmacology, Radiotherapy, Radiodiagnosis, and Transfusion Medicine and Blood bank, General Medicine, and Nuclear Medicine.

What are the Application Procedure for the Candidates?
Candidates, who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria may fill the application form which will be available at www.aiimspatna.edu.in. After the final submission of form, candidates have to take a print of the same, which along with the following documents (original and one set of self-attested copies) needs to be produced at the time of interview:-
1. Date of Birth/SSC/HSSC pass certificate (mentioning Date of Birth)
2. MBBS Degree Certificate
3. Internship Completion Certificate
4. MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch Degree/Provisional Degree Certificate
5. UG/PG NMC/State Registration Certificate
6. Category/PwBD Certificate (If seat is claimed in reserved category)
7. Experience Certificate, if any
8. NOC from present employer (applicable for those working in Govt./Pvt. organization)
9. Any other relevant documents (viz. Research Work, Publication etc.)
Selection Process:-
a) Written test (MCQ based) will be held for selection to the advertised posts of Senior Residents.
b) Total Number of questions will be 80, carrying one marks each. There will be no negative marking.
c) Written test will be held on 15.03.2023 at AIIMS PATNA only. Result of the written examination will be declared on same day on AIIMS, Patna website (www.aiimspatna.edu.in).
d) Qualifying marks for written test will be as under: UR: 50 % OBC-NCL/EWS: 45 % SC/ST: 40 %
e) The successful candidates {maximum three (03) times of seats in each speciality} will be called for the personal interview to be conducted from 16.03.2023 onwards. Total marks of interview will be of 20 Marks.
f) Final Selection list will be declared on the combined marks of written and Interview marks.
g) While every effort will be made to intimate the candidates regarding Exam/Interview schedule at the earliest, the responsibility lies with the candidate to check for the same on the institute website. All Candidates must provide phone numbers and E-mail for faster communication.
h) Those who already completed 03 years of their Senior Residency are not eligible to apply.
i) Qualification/Experience will be counted as on 20.02.2023.
j) The final result will be displayed on the website i.e. (www.aiimspatna.edu.in).
