Kolkata: The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL Kolkata) West Bengal has released vacancies for Medical Officer and Specialist posts. The selection will be done on the basis of the interview.

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is one of the largest steel-making companies in India and one of the Maharatna's of the country's Central Public Sector Enterprises. SAIL produces iron and steel at five integrated plants and three special steel plants, located principally in the eastern and central regions of India and situated close to domestic sources of raw materials. SAIL manufactures and sells a broad range of steel products.

The Vacancies are in the Department of - Medicine, Surgery, ENT, Dermatology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, and Anaesthesia.

HOW TO APPLY:

i) Eligible and interested candidates should send their duly filled in application as per the prescribed APPLICATION FORMAT given at Annexure-I, neatly typed/ written in capital letter on a plain paper of A-4 size, furnishing details with latest passport size coloured photograph with cross signed in full signature pasted on it along with the self-attested copies of following documents, an envelope containing application must be superscribed "Application for the Post of against Advt. No. RMD/K/PERS/F-13/2021/446" by Speed post/ registered post addressed to DGM[Pers], Raw Materials Division, Steel Authority of India Ltd., 6th Floor, Industry House Building, 10 Camac Street, Kolkata - 700017 [West Bengal]:

a. Date of Birth [Matriculation or equivalent certificate

b. Educational / Professional Qualification

c. Caste/Category certificate, if applicable

d. Valid Registration Certificate issued by Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council/ DCI

e. Experience Certificate showing relevant post qualification experience (issued by the employer)

e. Receipt copy of SBI Challan towards payment of Application Fee (only in case of General/ OBC/ EWS)

g. Photo Identity Proof (Voter ID / Aadhaar Card / Passport / Driving License/ PAN Card)

h. NOC from present employer, if employed under PSUs/Autonomous Bodies/Govt. Department

ii) Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he fulfils all the eligibility norms as per the advertisement. The admission at all stages of the examination will be purely provisional, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions, which will be verified at the time of Interview. Mere issue of admit card for Written Examination / CBT or call letter for Interview will not imply acceptance of candidature.

iii) Category (General/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ PWD/ ESM) once declared in the application form cannot be changed and no benefit of another category will be subsequently admissible.

iv) While applying the candidates should enter their full name as it appears in the Matriculation/ Secondary School certificate.

v) The candidates will be allowed to appear in the Written Examination/ CBT only if they possess a valid Admit Card. However, candidates shortlisted for the Interview would be required to furnish documents regarding proof of date of birth, qualification, category etc. at the time of the Interview.

vi) Incomplete application/ application without fee (where applicable) / application not fulfilling any eligibility criteria will be rejected summarily. No communication will be entertained from the applicants in this regard. The decision of SAIL, RMD in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance, rejection of the application, issue of admit card/ call letters will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection. Applications not received as prescribed here and beyond the last date for receipt of applications shall be summarily rejected.
