Guwahati: The Employees State Insurance Corporation Hospital (ESIC Model Hospital Guwahati) has released vacancies for Senior Resident Post on a Contract Basis in different departments.
ESIC is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

The Vacancies are in the Department of - Medicine, and Paediatrics and the Date for the Walk-in-Interview: 31st August 2021.
The Vacancies are in the Department of - Surgery, Anaesthesia, and Obs & Gynae and the Date for the Walk-in-Interview: 1st September 2021.
Venue of Interview: Chamber of Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital Beltola, Guwahati-781022.
Reporting Time for Document verification: One hour prior to Time of Interview.

What are the Terms and Conditions?
1.In case a candidate who is selected for Senior Resident (3 years) resigns/terminates his/her contract within 09 months of commencement of the contract with or without prior notice, the amount of Rs. 30,000/- deposited as security money will be forfeited.
2.The recruitments will be purely on a contractual basis and selected candidates will have no claim for regularization of the service in the hospital.
3.Private practices of any kind will not be allowed.
4.ESI Corporation may increase or decrease or cancel the filling up of any or all the posts without assigning any reasons at the discretion of the Appointing Authority.
5.Candidates who have already worked as Senior Resident for 3 years after PG under Central Residency Scheme in any Govt. organization are not eligible to apply for the post.
6.No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
7.The candidate who is in service should submit a "No Objection Certificate" from the employer at the time of the interview.
8.The selected candidates will have to furnish a DD/Bankers Cheque for an amount of Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) drawn in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1" payable at Guwahati, towards security deposit.
9.The decision of the Selection Board will be final on all aspects of selection and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances.
10.The Selection is subject to the candidates proving their medical fitness.
11.In case of selection, an OFFER OF APPOINTMENT will be issued as per requirement.
