Chennai: The Employees State Insurance Corporation Medical College and Hospital (ESIC Medical College and Hospital Chennai) has released Vacancies for Senior Resident posts on Contract Basis. The Selection will be done based on a walk-in interview.
ESIC is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

The vacancies are in the Departments of Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Biochemistry, Pathology, General Medicine, Respiratory Intensive Care Unit, Dermatology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, ENT, Radiology, Emergency Medicine, Physical Medicine and rehabilitation.
The date for the walk-in interview is the 5th and 6th of October 2023.
Venue: ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Ashok Pillar Road, K.K. Nagar, Chennai.

What are the General Conditions for Eligible Candidates?
Only those candidates whose documents are verified will be allowed to attend walk-in interview.
The candidates are advised to bring their all Original Certificates with one set of self-attested photocopies of the following during document verification
(i) Identity Proof [PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhar Card etc.]
(ii) Address Proof [Ration Card, Passport, Driving License, Aadhar Card etc.]
(iii) Certificate showing Date of Birth [10th Certificate/Birth Certificate]
(iv) Two Recent passport size photographs.
(v) Photocopies of Aadhar Card/PAN Card and Bank Passbook [At the time of joining for only selected candidates]
(vi) Class 10th& 12th Mark Sheets or Certificates.
(vii) MBBS, MD/MS/DNB and Experience certificate whichever is applicable as per NMC guidelines.
(viii) Registration with National Medical Commission / State Medical Council [For Medical Candidates]
(ix) Subsequent to the selection, the candidate has to register with Tamilnadu State Medical Council not later than 30 days from the date of joining if not registered at the time of joining.
(x) Internship Completion Certificate.
(xi) Reservation category Certificate [OBC*/SC/ST/PH/EWS] in the format prescribed by Govt. of India (* Candidate should belong to non-creamy layer of central lists of OBC).
(xii) NOC (If applicable).
(xiii) Demand draft for Interview Fee of Rs.500/- in favour of ESI Fund A.C No.1, payable at Chennai. Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
