The pending plea seeking transparency in the National Eligibility-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 examination is likely to be heard by the Supreme Court on 7th November, 2025.
Both the pleas filed by the United Doctors' Front (UDF) and a group of NEET-PG 2025 aspirants who challenged the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences' (NBEMS) mechanism of disclosing the answer keys have been listed for a further hearing on 07.11.2025.

NBE releases withheld NEET PG 2025 results after Delhi HC directive
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the revised result of a NEET PG 2025 candidate whose result was earlier withheld..
The updated result has been published on the official NBEMS notice board following compliance with the directions of the Hon’ble Delhi High Court.
According to the official issued by the NBEMS in this regard, the result of the candidate, earlier marked as “withheld,” has now been declared after receiving no objections from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).

HC refuses to quash case against anaesthetist accused of impersonating gynaecologist
The Rajasthan High Court recently denied granting relief to a doctor, who filed a plea seeking to quash the FIR and subsequent proceedings in a case of medical negligence and cheating.
While considering the matter, the Single-Judge bench of Justice Anand Sharma held that the prosecution was valid and the investigating agency was not barred from conducting further probe and filing a charge sheet even after submitting a negative final report under Section 173(8) of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973.

AIIMS Delhi doctors asked to write prescriptions in Hindi, draws debate
In a major step to promote the use of Hindi and make medical communication easier for patients, the Union Health Ministry has directed doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, to use Hindi while prescribing medicines and in their day-to-day work as much as possible.
As per several local media reports, AIIMS has instructed its doctors to write prescriptions in Hindi instead of English so that patients can easily understand their medicines and instructions. This change aims to help the general public, especially those from rural areas who often struggle to read English prescriptions.
