Granting relief to a Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), the Delhi High Court has directed the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to treat a court order, along with an affidavit filed by the National Testing Agency (NTA), as the NEET UG 2019 scorecard to appear in the screening test.
This direction was issued by the HC bench comprising Justice Sachin Datta, while considering a plea by an OBC (NCL) aspirant, who sought urgent relief from the court after being unable to produce her physical NEET-UG 2019 scorecard while applying for the FMGE December 2025 session.

Indian Medical Students Seek Urgent Safety Intervention in Iran Amid Protests
Amid escalating protests and violence across Iran, the medical students' bodies have appealed to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to intervene to ensure the safety of nearly 3,000 Indian medical students currently studying in the country.
Highlighting growing anxiety among students and their families, the All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA) and Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) urged the Ministry of External Affairs to closely monitor the situation, strengthen coordination with the Indian Embassy, set up emergency helplines, issue timely advisories, and prepare evacuation plans if required.

Indore Diarrhoea Outbreak Claims Six Lives, 20 New Cases Detected
In the wake of a widespread diarrhoea outbreak caused by contaminated drinking water in Madhya Pradesh's Indore, health teams detected twenty new patients on Sunday after screening over 9,000 persons. 142 patients remain hospitalised, officials said.
Officials said health teams examined 9,416 individuals from 2,354 households during an ongoing survey in the city's Bhagirathpura area, where six persons have lost their lives due to contaminated water, and identified 20 fresh cases.

Faridabad Doctor Loses Rs 41.5 Lakh in Trading Scam
In a recent case of cyber fraud, a 42-year-old doctor from Faridabad was allegedly cheated of Rs 41.5 lakh by fraudsters using a fake trading account on Telegram, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place on December 24, 2025, when the victim was persuaded to deposit Rs 30 lakh to supposedly withdraw Rs 1.57 crore from a fake trading account created in his name.
