NBE notice claiming NEET PG 2024 registration from 9th January is FAKE

The notice issued under the name of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) claiming that the registration for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) examination started from 9th January onwards is FAKE.

As per the notice, which has been circulating on social media platforms, the NEET PG 2024 examination shall be held on March 3rd, 2024 and the applications for the same can be submitted till January 20th, 2024.

All Hindi textbooks for MBBS course to be available soon: MP DyCM

All Hindi medium textbooks for MBBS course in Madhya Pradesh would be available soon as the translation from English to Hindi would be completed by the end of this month, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla told IANS on Thursday.

Shukla, who is the health and medical education minister in Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s cabinet, made this statement after reviewing the progress of Hindi medium MBBS course at Bhopal’s Gandhi Medical College (GMC). Notably, MBBS course in Hindi medium -- a first of its kind of pilot project -- was introduced jointly by the Centre and the state government at GMC in 2022.

Doctor in Surat dies of pneumonia, family alleges he was harassed by seniors while he was ill

In a shocking turn of events, the family of a postgraduate medical student at the Government Medical College (GMC) in Surat, who recently died of pneumonia at a private hospital on Monday, have alleged that he was harassed by seniors and continued working hard even when he was seriously ill.

The father of the deceased PG medico met with the in-charge Dean of the GMC Dr. Nimesh Verma on Tuesday and handed over a complaint letter in this regard.

Indian origin doctor suspended by Singapore tribunal for improperly prescribing long-term sedatives: Report

Dr. Maninder Singh Shahi, a family doctor with 35 years of experience, has been suspended from medical practice for three years by a Singapore disciplinary tribunal. The tribunal found that he improperly prescribed long-term sedative medication, including benzodiazepines, zopiclone, and zolpidem, to seven patients, three of whom were elderly. The prescriptions were made from his clinic, 81 Family Clinic, for over a decade.
