Should the Uniform Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices be made mandatory for Pharma companies? The decision to this issue may soon find a solution as the government has now decided to put its high-level committee to review and take a call on the matter. The said committee will be chaired by Dr VK Paul.
The government has constituted a high-level committee to hammer out a legal mechanism to address the issue of pharmaceutical companies giving inducements for promoting their drugs and products.

5,604 DNB seats available in MCC AIQ NEET PG counselling 2022, check out seat matrix
A total number of 5,604 seats are available for DNB aspirants seeking admissions via MCC AIQ NEET PG Counselling 2022.
The confirmation to this effect comes from a recently released Round 1 seat matrix by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on its official website as per which the maximum seats are available in the specialty of DNB General Medicine.
As per the schedule, the round one registrations for the NEET PG 2022 counselling began on September 15th, the choice filling facility will be available till September 25th. Processing of seat allotment will be done from 26th to 27th September and the result will be declared on 28th September. The reporting will be done from 29th September to 4th October.

The pharmaceutical sector minted the most number of dollar billionaires with 36 entrepreneurs in the recently released IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022.
IIFL Wealth in association with Hurun India launched the 11th annual ranking of the richest individuals in India- IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022. As per the list, India's rich cumulatively constitute Rs 100 lakh crore of wealth in 2022.
The founder of Serum Institute of India (SII), nicknamed 'Vaccine King of India', Cyrus S Poonawalla has topped the list among pharma entrepreneurs with 25 percent change in his total wealth to Rs 2,05,400 crore.
