The long pending plea seeking the release of the National Eligibility-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2024 examination's answer key is set for hearing before the Supreme Court tomorrow i.e. March 25.
Finally, the Apex Court bench is set to take up the matter when the medical fraternity across the country is urging the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and the Union Health Ministry to conduct the upcoming NEET PG 2025 exam in a single shift to ensure transparency.
The All Odisha AYUSH Doctors’ Association (AOADA) has announced a statewide indefinite strike starting from March 27 to protest the state government’s ongoing neglect of their long-standing demands, including the regularization of their services.
Their primary demands include the Service Regularisation of all 1485 Co-located AYUSH Medical Officers posted in Community Health Centres and Primary Health Centres since 2007 and ensuring job security comparable to their Ayurveda and Homeopathy counterparts in government service considering the years of Service rendered. Additionally, they are also seeking equal pay, arguing that despite their contributions to the healthcare system, they continue to face disparities in salaries.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has confirmed that there are no plans to establish a new All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Punjab. This was stated by the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Shri Prataprao Jadhav, in response to a query in the Lok Sabha.
