The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially declared the Final Result of the Stray Vacancy Round for the NEET PG Counselling for the academic year 2025-26. According to the notice issued by the MCC in this regard, candidates can now download their Provisional Allotment Letter from the official MCC portal.

All allotted candidates are required to report to their respective institutes with original documents to complete the admission formalities. Reporting has commenced from February 23, 2026, as per the prescribed schedule.

FAIMA Flags NEET-PG Standards, Calls Cutoff Reduction To Fill Seats Irresponsible

New Delhi: Raising concerns over the continued vacancy of NEET PG seats and repeated reduction of qualifying cut-offs, a doctors' body has called for transparent, time-bound counselling, uniform stipend and humane bond policies for young doctors.

In a detailed statement, the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) said that the issue reflects deep structural problems in India’s postgraduate medical education system rather than a lack of interest among young doctors.

Kerala High Court Says Government Must Decide on ‘Dr’ Prefix For Physiotherapists

While hearing an appeal challenging a single-bench verdict allowing physiotherapists and occupational therapists use the 'Dr' prefix, the Kerala High Court has clarified that the decision lies with the government, and not the court.

Previously, a single bench dismissed pleas seeking a ban on Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapy Professionals to proclaim themselves as the first health care provider and use the 'Dr' prefix.

Doctors Are Not Factory Workers, HC Imposes Rs 1 lakh fine on Chennai Hospital

Holding that hospitals cannot treat doctors like a workman in a factory or a technical person or a regular employee, the Madras High Court dismissed the arbitration plea filed by a private hospital against a Chennai-based Cardio Thoracic Surgeon and imposed costs of Rs 1 lakh on the petitioner hospital, directing it to pay the amount to the doctor.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that the court had questioned whether hospitals are being run as businesses or healthcare institutions and had orally observed that non-compete and non-solicitation clauses appear "unlawful on the face of it."
