Three doctors have been conferred the ‘Padma Bhushan’ for distinguished service of high order while 10 have been conferred ‘Padma Shri’ for distinguished service in the field of medicine

Mandatory AEBAS in all medical colleges: NMC
Through a recent notice, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued yet another clarification regarding the implementation of Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) in all government and private medical colleges.
In the recent notice, the NMC has clarified regarding the AEBAS machine, face AEBAS or face-based Biometric Attendance System, ID transfer, Error code and shift option.

Gurugram doctor beaten for sanitising hand after checking patient
Two individuals have been charged with assaulting a 39-year-old orthopedic doctor in Gurugram's Sector-82A after he sanitized his hands following an examination. The victim, Dr. Peeyush Yadav, reported that a patient, whom he had examined for shoulder pain, became agitated upon seeing the doctor use sanitizer.
The patient initiated a confrontation, and an attendant accompanying him assaulted Dr. Yadav multiple times. Following Yadav's complaint, an FIR against unidentified suspects was filed at KherkiDaula police station.
