Delhi: Hundreds of doctors march at Rajghat demanding protection against violence
In an major display of solidarity, a hundreds of doctors convened at Rajghat, New Delhi, emphasizing an ongoing concern for healthcare professionals: violence against them. The march under the banner "Chalo Rajghat" organized on Sunday, underlined the growing distress and vulnerability faced by medical professionals in their line of duty.
The rally saw number of medical associations participate. Convened by Delhi Medical Association, the rally also saw young doctors under the banner of FORDA, Maulana Azad Medical College RDA, Lady Harding Medical College RDA, UCMD RDA, and FAIMA join in large numbers,

Delhi: Hundreds Of Doctors March At Rajghat Demanding Protection Against Violence
Caught on camera: Doctor slaps HIV patient in Indore hospital, suspended
In a shocking incident, a video of a junior doctor allegedly slapping and verbally abusing an HIV-infected patient at the government-run Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital (MYH) in Indore went viral on social media.
In response to the incident, the doctor has been immediately suspended from the hospital without delay. In addition, an enquiry team has been created to investigate the matter. Further action against the accused will be taken in accordance with the investigation report.

Post surgery complications lead to organ loss: Commission relief to doctors on medical negligence charges
Emphasizing the limited scope of revisional jurisdiction and finding no jurisdictional errors in their decisions, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) has dismissed a revision petition filed challenging the order of District and State Commission, Maharashtra that absolved two doctors of alleged medical negligence charges.
Presiding Member, Dr Inderjit Singh observed that both the State Commission and the District Forum have given well-reasoned orders.
