NEET PG 2022 counseling schedule likely to be released soon
NEET-PG 2022 and NEET-MDS 2022 counselling process will begin soon. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the dates for the counselling process on the website mcc.nic.in.
MCC conducts counselling for 50% of All India Quota seats and state counselling authorities fill 50% of the state quota seats. The merit list will be released based on the cutoff percentile received in the NEET exam. Candidates whose names will be there on the merit list will be able to participate in the counselling rounds of NEET PG 2022

Apple Watch Series 8 to come up with fever detection feature
Health-centric Apple Watch Series 8 will reportedly come with a body temperature sensor that will let the user know if he or she is running a fever.
The upcoming Apple Watch should be able to detect a spike in body temperature, and then ask you to use a thermometer, reports Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
"The feature is a go for both the standard Apple Watch Series 8 and a new rugged edition that's aimed at extreme sports athletes," he said.

NBE gives nod to Sky Hospital for DrNB cardiology course
Bringing good news to the Postgraduate medical aspirants in Manipur, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has given its nod to Imphal-based Sky Hospital for running DrNB (Doctorate of National Board) course.
NBEMS, the Apex body in charge of running DNB and DrNB courses, has given its nod to the Hospital for two seats in Cardiology.

Researchers create 'COVID computer' to speed up diagnosis
Researchers at the University of Leicester have created a new AI tool that can detect Covid-19.
The software analyses chest CT scans and uses deep learning algorithms to accurately diagnose the disease. With an accuracy rate of 97.86%, it's currently the most successful Covid-19 diagnostic tool in the world.
Currently, the diagnosis of COVID-19 is based on nucleic acid testing, or PCR tests as they are commonly known. These tests can produce false negatives and results can also be affected by hysteresis – when the physical effects of an illness lag behind their cause. AI, therefore, offers an opportunity to rapidly screen and effectively monitor Covid-19 cases on a large scale, reducing the burden on doctors.
