Pharmexcil warns Maiden Pharma of export certificate suspension
The Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) has warned Haryana-based Maiden Pharma of suspension of the export certificate. The said certificate validates the company as an exporter authorised by the Indian government.
WHO on Wednesday issued an alert over four India-made cough and cold syrups which are made by Maiden Pharmaceuticals in India.
AIIMS Director asks doctors, staff to report presence of unauthorized agents on hospital campus
Ordering a major crackdown on the touts of various private organizations including labs, hospitals, device manufacturers, pharma etc, the newly appointed AIIMS director has recently issued a strict directive barring the entry of unidentified individuals, vendors and agents from its campus.
AIIMS Director Dr M Srinivas on Friday issued a circular asking all doctors and medical staff to immediately report on such elements.

NMC withdraws public notice seeking affidavit for recognition to medical colleges
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has withdrawn its previous notice whereby it sought an affidavit from the medical colleges to allow recognition or continuation of recognition of MBBS seats.
Earlier in September, after the declaration of NEET 2022 results, the NMC had allowed the due renewal of permission and recognition or continuation of recognition to all medical colleges based on a sworn affidavit for the academic year 2022-2023 duly signed by the medical colleges' authorities. However, the NMC warned the institutes that surprise inspections would be conducted as per their track record and decisions will be taken according to the assessment reports.

Give Rs 22500 Diwali bonus to junior, senior resident doctors: IMA Maha to CM
Demanding a Diwali Bonus for junior and senior resident doctors on similar lines of the BMC employees, the Maharashtra State brand of the Indian Medical Association ( IMA Maharashtra) has now written a letter to Shri Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
As per the policy of the state government, a bonus of Rs. 22500 will be provided by the government to the BMC employees and a salary to the healthcare workers. Stating the junior resident doctors and the senior resident doctors worked as frontline COVID WARRIORS, the Indian Medical Association requested the government to consider them a part of the special Diwali Bonus.
