Postpone NEET PG 2022, extend Internship Deadline: MBBS Graduates Appeal before Supreme Court
Citing the pending mandatory MBBS internship as the reason, some MBBS graduates have approached the Supreme court seeking a postponement of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Post Graduation NEET PG 2022.
Filed by six MBBS graduates, the plea has pointed out that hundreds of MBBS graduates would not be able to appear in the entrance exam, scheduled on March 12, 2022, as their mandatory MBBS internship training will stand incomplete.

10 Doctors Conferred Padma Shri In Medicine
This year's Padma awards have been announced and 10 doctors have been conferred a Padma Shri for their contributions in the field of medicine
This year the President has approved conferment of 128 Padma Awards including 2 duo case (in a duo case, the Award is counted as one) as per list below. The list comprises 4 Padma Vibhushan, 17 Padma Bhushan and 107 Padma Shri Awards. 34 of the awardees are women and the list also includes 10 persons from the category of Foreigners/NRI/PIO/OCI and 13 Posthumous awardees.

MBBS, BDS Admission In Madhya Pradesh Medical Colleges
The Medical Education Department of Madhya Pradesh has recently released the fees structure for MBBS and BDS courses in the Government and Dental institutes in the State.
As per the data provided by DME, Madhya Pradesh, while MBBS and BDS fees in the Government institutes is Rs 1 lakh only, the MBBS fees in Private Institutes can range from Rs 8.5 lakh to Rs 14 lakh and the BDS fees range from Rs 190,000 to Rs 253,000.

Drug Safety Alert: IPC Flags Adverse Reactions Linked To Ibuprofen
The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), through its recently issued drug safety alert for the month of January, has revealed that Ibuprofen is associated with Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) named Fixed Drug Eruption.
This came after preliminary analysis of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) from the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) database.
