BHMS graduate held for allegedly using registration number, name of MBBS doctor
Overview
Police have arrested a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) graduate for allegedly using the registration number and name of an MBBS doctor.
According to Mulund Police, using the credentials of an MBBS doctor Dr Maurya, the 30-year-old BHMS graduate Jadhav was allegedly manning the ICU at the MT Agarwal Hospital. Dr Maurya was unaware of the fact that his name and registration number were being used by someone else.
The arrested BHMS graduate was practicing at MT Agarwal Hospital from February 2022 to August 2022. It has been revealed that the doctor had issued four death certificates using the name and registration of Dr. Maurya. The BHMS graduate, who has been detained by police, is to remain in police custody till Tuesday.
