Delhi has 1,396 MBBS and 3,017 PG seats in Medical Colleges: MoS Health - Video
Overview
There are a total of 1,396 MBBS seats and 3,017 postgraduate medical seats available in Delhi, the Union Minister of State for Health, Smt Anupriya Patel, informed the Lok Sabha recently.
Queries related to the seat matrix in Delhi were raised by Parliament member Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, who sought to know the total number of medical seats available in the medical colleges in Delhi. Further, Shri Bidhuri also asked whether the Government has conducted any study to find out the required number of medical seats in Delhi, and also asked for the details regarding the number of streams offered in the medical colleges and the number of seats available for each of the streams in those colleges in Delhi.
