Overview

Through a recent notice, the National Medical Commission (NMC) asked all private medical colleges to submit an E-Bank Guarantee and all Govt and Private medical colleges/institutions to submit an undertaking within 7 days of being issued with the Letter of Permission (LoP) for the postgraduate medical seats for the academic year 2025-2026.

NMC, the Apex Medical Education Regulatory Body, issued this direction to the medical colleges after the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the Commission issued a notice on 04.12.2025, seeking an affidavit and E-Bank Guarantee from Medical Colleges/Institutions that have received LoP for starting/increasing PG seats for the AY 2025-2026.
