Overview
Human chorionic gonadotrophin can be detected in the maternal serum, confirming early pregnancy. The success of implantation is measured by early concentration after IVF and embryo transfer.
A study published in the Reproductive Biomedicine Online is the first known report highlighting the link between high HCG (Human chorionic gonadotrophin) levels after Single Embryo Transfer (SET) and the development of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
