DNB PG Diploma In Obstetrics And Gynaecology: Admissions, medical colleges, fees, eligibility criteria details
DNB PD in Obstetrics And Gynaecology also known as DNB Post Diploma in Obstetrics And Gynaecology is a Postgraduate level course for doctors in India that is done by them after completion of their postgraduate medical diploma. The duration of this postgraduate course is 2 years, and it focuses on the research of different ideas concerning the diagnosis and treatment of prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal stages of both healthy and unhealthy pregnancy and labour.
The course is a full-time course pursued at various recognized accredited institutions/hospitals across the country.
Admission to this course is done through the DNB-PDCET ranking examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), followed by counselling based on the scores of the exam that is conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences for allotment of DNB Post Diploma seat.
The fee for pursuing DNB-PD in Obstetrics And Gynaecology (DGO) is Rs.1,25,000 per year.
After completion of their respective course, doctors can either join the job market or pursue higher degree courses like master’s degrees and research degree courses recognized by NBEMS or NMC, where DNB Post Diploma in Obstetrics And Gynaecology (DGO) is a feeder qualification. Eligibility Criteria
