Missing AIIMS Doctor: RDA writes to Home Ministry seeking intervention
New Delhi: With the hunt for the two missing doctors from New Delhi, not yielding any results, the medical fraternity has now demanded the Home Ministry to intervene in the matter and help him the doctors.
Medical Dialogues had recently reported about the case of two medicos who have gone missing from Delhi since December 25th 2019 under mysterious circumstances prompting their families to resort for help via social media. One of the missing resident doctors was associated with the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI Chandigarh) while the other one was working with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
A public outcry has been raised in efforts to find the medical practitioners via various modes including social media platforms and an emergency missing notice has been issued by the Hauz Khas police.
One of the missing medicos was a doctor at AIIMS, while the other one, a former resident doctor at PGI Chandigarh who had gone for his DM counselling at JIPMER

The Resident Doctors Association (RDA) of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has written to Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla requesting him to investigate the matter related to the missing case of Dr Hima Bindu, an ex-resident doctor at AIIMS. She is missing since December 25.
"On behalf of Resident Doctors Association, AIIMS New Delhi we would like to draw your kind attention to the fact the Dr Hima Bindu, Ex-Resident at AIIMS who resides at 34, Room No-7, Gautam Nagar, New Delhi has been missing since December 25 2019," read the letter.
"An FIR regarding the same has been filed in Hauz Khas PS South Delhi. In this regard, we would like to inform you that no information about whereabouts has been found till date though the incident took place 6 days ago," it read
"It is humbly requested you to direct the concerned officials to pursue the matter on a priority basis," it requested.
