Mumbai Doctor arrested for filming female colleague while changing
Mumbai: A 29 year old doctor from a government hospital has been arrested for allegedly filming a female colleague while she was changing her clothes.
The incident goes back to last month, when the doctor allegedly took this video and then further circulated the said video. The female doctor came to know about the incident, when one of her friends from another hospital informed her about the same. While she didn't believe it at first, she was shocked to see the video, when shown.
Hindustan Times reports that the woman started asking everyone who they had received the video from and gradually narrowed down on the accused. It is reported that both the doctors reside on the same floor of the doctor's quarters of the said hospital
She immediately filed a complaint with the Juhu Police, which registered a case under section 354 (molestation), 379 (theft) and 66 A and 67 A (publishing or transmitting material containing sexually explicit acts)
Police while speaking to the daily informed that the accused has been remanded to police custody by a magistrate court adding that they are currently investigating what was the doctor’s motive behind circulating the video. They added that he had stolen the memory card from the woman’s phone, but have not yet ascertained why adds HT
