NEET PG Result Racket: NBE issues Advisory to Aspirants
New Delhi: In response to the fake calls that have been doing rounds whereby NEET PG aspirants are being asked for money in order to increase their ranks, the National Board of Examinations ( NBE ) has now issued a notice to the aspirants guiding them not to get misled by any such false or bogus claims
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) in its recent notice, a copy of which is with Medical Dialogues team has clearly stated,
"It has been observed that certain false or bogus claims are being made to some applicant NEET-PG 2018 candidates regarding securing a rank in NEET-PG 2018.
It is hereby clarified that the result of NEET-PG 2018 shall be declared by NBE solely on the basis of performance of the candidates on the examination day.
Candidates are advised not to get misled by any false or bogus claims regarding obtaining a rank in NEET-PG 2018
The allotment of PG seats pursuant to a declaration of NEET-PG 2018 result shall be done by a respective government authority as indicated in the Information Bulletin."
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that PG aspirants across the country were getting jitters after many received calls, demanding huge sums of money in return of increasing their ranks in the much-awaited NEET PG 2018 results.
An investigation into such calls has been now lodged by the Deputy Commissioner in East Singhbum in the state of Jharkhand after the DC received a complaint from the Jamshedpur IMA branch, in this regard. The complaint was filed by Secretary of the IMA Jharkhand Chapter after he received numerous complaints from students in the area.
