113 DNB seats added to NEET PG Counselling mop up round, Details
New Delhi: Through a recent notification, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed about the addition of DNB seats to the mop-up round of NEET PG Counselling 2021 for candidates seeking PG medical admissions this academic year.
As per the MCC, a total of 113 DNB seats have been added, the maximum are in the speciality of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with 27 seats followed by Anaesthesiology by 26 seats and Paediatrics with 18 seats.
The list drops down to General Medicine having 8 seats for DNB candidates, 6 each in Ophthalmology and Family Medicine, 4 in Orthopaedics and 3 in Diploma Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
2 seats each are available for General Surgery, ENT and Diploma in Paediatrics.

"It is for the kind attention of the candidates that new seats have been added as per data provided by the Government of Karnataka and the National Board of Examinations. It is informed to the candidates that they can exercise the right to choice filling for Institutes/Colleges that have been added in the State of Karnataka," the MCC notification has stated.
Recently 7 PG medical seats have been added from Santosh medical college to the MCC NEET PG counselling. Earlier 26 seats were added to the already total of 6,266 MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB seats are available for NEET PG Counselling candidates participating in the mop-up round being conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee, MCC under DGHS.
