AIIMS INI SS July 2023: Open round begins today, 339 seats available for candidates
Delhi: The open round for institute allocation against applied subjects for admission to DM/MCh/MD Hospital Administration courses of INIs for the July 2023 session will begin today (11.08.2023) by 5:00 pm. Overall 339 seats are vacant for this round. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the detailed schedule and seat matrix.
The detailed schedule –
1. Online exercising of choices for participation in open round of institute allocation - From: 11.08.2023 (Friday) by 05.00 pm to 17.08.2023 (Thursday) by 05:00 pm
2. Result for allotment of institute against the applied subject in the open round - 24.08.2023 (Thursday)
3. Reporting & submission of documents - 25.08.2023, 11:00 am (Friday) to 29.08.2023 up to 5:00 pm (Tuesday)
The candidates need to register for the online “Open Round” latest by 05:00 pm on Thursday, 17th August 2023, on www.aiimsexams.ac.in. To Register, go to www.aiimsexams.ac.in. Select desired course “DM/MCh/MD (Hosp. Admin.)” under the “Academic Courses” tab and then click on “Registration/Login” under General Links to proceed further to register. Enter the Registration ID and Password to log in.
On “My Page”, click on the “Online Seat Allocation” link. Candidates have to register for the open round of online seat allocation and fill choices as per the vacant seat position & Eligibility. It is also required to create new login credentials for those candidates who have not participated earlier in INI-SS July 2023 counselling.
Candidates who have participated earlier may use old login credentials, which was used in the 01st, 02nd & 03rd round of counselling. They will have to deposit an amount of Three Lakh (3.0 Lakh) in the account of Examination Section, AIIMS New Delhi through RTGS, NEFT or any other electronic Mode of payment. The account details are mentioned in the notice below. Candidates must have to submit/attach the payment details as well as cancel the cheque in the online portal (My Page).
No candidate will be considered for Open round counselling without prior willingness/registration, the deposit of three Lakh (03.00 Lakh) & uploading of such payment receipts. This is the last round of Seat allocation, and no further rounds of seat allocation will be conducted.
Eligibility -
Candidates who have appeared in INI-SS for the July 2023 session held on Saturday, the 29th April 2023 and obtained the following will be deemed to be provisionally eligible (subject to other criteria) to participate in the Open Round of Institute Allocation -
All participating candidates having obtained 50% OR above marks are eligible for an Open round of Institute allocation
Allocation of institutes will be done according to their merit in AML & CML.
Candidates who applied for a General seat will be eligible only for General seats, and applied for sponsored seats will be eligible only for sponsored seats. There will be no merging of seats from general to sponsored or sponsored to general.
Eligibility for AIIMS New Delhi & other AIIMS, Candidates should mandatorily be in AIIMS Merit List.
Candidates who are holding a seat at any Institute in the previous round are not eligible for this Open round.
The Sponsored & Foreign National candidates may also participate in the open round.
The OCI Cardholder born before 04.03.2021 having OCI Registration will be considered for open category seats.
