AIIMS Patna notifies on compulsory attendance for MBBS medicos eligible to appear in professional exams
Bihar : Through a recent notice, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has informed about the compulsory attendance for MBBS medicos eligible to appear in professional exams.
As per the Rules & Regulation of MBBS Graduate Academic Course, AIIMS Patna, all the MBBS students are required to attend their respective lectures, practical, foundation course, tutorial and clinical posting, so that they can fulfil the required attendance i.e. 75% in each category of teaching modality to become eligible for Professional Examinations. If the required attendance is not fulfilled by the students, they can't appear in their respective professional examinations.
The Concerned HoDs are requested to display monthly attendance on their Department's Notice Board and send attendance to Dean (Academics) Office on quarterly basis. If the attendance is below 50%, an email to concerned parent/guardian will be sent from this office.
After the Pre Prof., concerned HoDs are requested to send attendance of complete professional in each modality to Dean (Exams)/Examination Section and copy of the same to Dean (Academics). The Dean (Exams)/Examination Section after the scrutiny of attendance, will publish a provisional list of the students eligible to appear in professional examination. Student(s) having attendance less than 75%, will be detained from the professional examination.
This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
