BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BNYS admissions 2026: CENTAC to hold physical counselling on September 17, draft merit lists released

Puducherry: The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), under the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Puducherry, has published the draft merit lists and physical counselling schedule for admission to BHMS, BUMS, BSMS and BNYS courses for the academic year 2026-27.
As per the notice issued by CENTAC in this regard, the physical counselling for the AYUSH courses is scheduled on 17 September 2026 (Thursday), 11:30 am at the CENTAC office, Kamarajar Manimandapam Campus, Puducherry.
According to CENTAC, a total of 8 seats are available for the three AYUSH courses-

IMPORTANT NOTE
1 Candidates once allotted the aforementioned course seats will not be considered for further rounds of counselling for any course in CENTAC (both UG NEET & Non-NEET courses).
2 Candidates should report with all original certificates including Mark sheets, NEET Score Card and Renewed Residence certificate for counselling.

While the BSMS, BHMS and BUMS merit list has been prepared on the basis of NEET UG 2026 scores, the BNYS merit list has been drawn up based on Higher Secondary academic marks.
CENTAC has published the draft merit list for Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) based on candidates’ NEET UG 2026 scores. The merit list contains 16 candidates.
Objections if any, may be submitted through email on or before 11 September 2026, 1.00 p.m. After disposing the objections, if any, the Final Merit List will be published.
