DME Gujarat Begins Choice Filling Process For 2nd Round Of BAMS, BHMS Counselling
The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has begun the choice-filling process for 2nd round of BAMS & BHMS counseling.
The candidates can fill in the choices till 4:00 pm today (12th December 2022), and the choices filled in by the candidates will be displayed till midnight today.
Guidelines for Choice Filling –
1. Online Allotment of seats is done based on merit cum choice in institutes permitted by the concerned council.
2. The candidate can decide on the following criteria - Course of choice, Institute/Place of choice, Government or Self-financed Institute, and Tuition fees.
3. Candidates are instructed to fill all the available choices irrespective of the institute's status (permitted /recognized) so that during the Allotment process, they can get admission in that seat if any institute gets permission.
4. In the choice filling of the Second and subsequent rounds, the Allotment of seats will be carried out as per the Closure of the previous round, irrespective of choices filled in by the candidate of the previous round.
5. Closure of the present round will be displayed along with the allotment result.
6. If the candidate fails to confirm admission to the allotted seat for any reason, such candidate shall not be allotted the same type of seat in the same institute in the successive rounds of counseling.
7. For the online choice filling, visit the website: http://medadmgujarat.org/.
8. Click on the "Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic & Homeopathy" tab under "Undergraduate Admission". A new window will appear on the computer screen. ["Undergraduate Admission" હેઠળની "Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic & Homeopathy."
9. Click the "Apply for Admission in Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, and Ayurvedic" button.
10. Click on "Candidate Registration/Login."
11. The candidates need to enter their USER ID (Sr No. of PIN), Password, 14 Digit PIN, Captcha & Click on Submit button.
12. Click on "CHOICE DETAILS." 3 options will be displayed - Available Choice: see all available choices; fill choice: to start the choice filling process, Print Filled Choice: after locking choices, the candidates can take the printout of their choice list.
Process for Participation for 2nd rround –
1. All the candidates included in the Merit List of ACPUGMEC can participate in the 4th online round (2nd round for BAMS & BHMS courses only), except the candidate who is admitted in Medical & Dental courses.
2. According to the Merit Closure Rule of UG Admission Rules, in the 4th online round (2nd round for BAMS & BHMS courses only), the candidates will not be offered admission on the available seats to their merit in the allotment process of the previous round.
3. If the candidates have not taken part in the previous round in ACPUGMEC, and participate directly in the 4th online round (2nd round for BAMS & BHMS courses only), then also candidate will not be offered admission to the seats available according to their merit in allotment process of 4th online round (2nd round for BAMS & BHMS courses only).
4. To participate in the 4th online round (2nd round for BAMS & BHMS courses only), the candidates must log in to the website www.medadmgujarat.org using their User-ID and Password to give ONLINE consent for participation in the second round (BAMS & BHMS).
5. If the candidate, who has confirmed the admission of the previous round and has given consent to participate in the 4th online round (2nd round for BAMS & BHMS courses only), has been allotted a new different seat, the admission of the previous round will get automatically canceled.
6. If candidates take part in the 4th online round (2nd round for BAMS & BHMS courses only) of ACPUGMEC, their admission is not upgraded. Their admission of the previous round will be continued.
7. The candidate who has participated or not participated in the 4th online round (2nd round for BAMS & BHMS courses only), the admission of the previous round can also be upgraded in the same college by change of admission category (i.e., ST / SC / SEBC / EWS to General category or PwD to non-PwD seat), there is no need to report the help center for confirmation of admission.
