DME Gujarat Issues Instructions For Admission Cancelation For Round 1 Of PG Ayurveda, Homeopathy Courses
Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) has issued instructions for admission cancellation for round 1 of PG Ayurveda and PG Homeopathy courses.
The candidates, who have confirmed their admission in 1st round of MD-MS (Ayurveda) and MD (Homeopathy) courses after paying fees at the designated branch of Axis bank & submitting the original documents at the help center, and want to cancel the admission, can cancel their admission at help center where the candidate has submitted original documents for admission confirmation till 4.00 pm on 10.2.2023.
For round 1, candidates were eligible –
1. As per AIA-PGET-2022 and AYUSH Ministry, New Delhi and have passed the BAMS/BHMS course from the universities of Gujarat state were eligible for state quota, including 10% management quota seats as well as 15% All India Quota seats of SFI colleges.
2. As per AIA-PGET-2022 criteria and AYUSH Ministry, New Delhi, those who have passed BAMS/BHMS From the universities of any other state of India are eligible only for 15% All India quota seats of SFI colleges.
The counseling process started with purchasing online pine in December last year. The choice-filling process was carried out in January this year. The admission process was closed on 1.2.2023. The online allotment of seats was done based on merit cum choice. So it was merit cum choice-based allotment. Round 1 opened with 372 seats; Ayurveda had 173 seats, and Homeopathy had 199 seats.
Admission Committee for Professional Post-Graduate Medical Courses (ACPPGMEC) is the counseling authority for PG courses. It is constituted under Section 4 of the Gujarat Professional Medical Education Institutions, Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees Act., 2007, Guj.3 of 2008 Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar.
Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that DME had announced the schedule of the 7th offline round (special stray vacancy offline round) counseling for BAMS & BHMS courses. The counseling process will be conducted on 8.2.2023, 9.2.2023, and 10.2.2023. No proxy and authority will be allowed in the 7th offline round of offline counseling, so candidates must come in prosper per the schedule of their merit numbers. 1093 candidates have given online consent to participate in this round.
