KEA Begins Registration Process For PG AYUSH Courses

KEA Begins Registration Process For PG AYUSH Courses

Karnataka: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has begun registering for PG AYUSH courses.

Detailed schedule –

1. Online Registration – till 28-02-2023 up to 11.59 pm

2. Last date to pay the registration fees - 01-03-2023

3. Verification of documents - 06-03-2023 and 07-03-2023 (at KEA, 18th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore)

4. Medical Examination to Persons with Disability (PWD) - 04-03-2023 ( at KEA, 18th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore) (Reporting at 10.30 am)

Candidates can apply "Online" only for Karnataka State PGAYUSH -2022. Online submission of the Application Form may be made by accessing KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in. Information Bulletin can be downloaded from the Website http://kea.kar.nic.in.

Candidates must ensure that mobile numbers and e-mail addresses entered in the online application form are their own. In case of urgency, KEA may send information/communications by SMS or email on the given mobile number and email ID only. KEA will not be held responsible for non-receipt of the latest information due to the incorrect mobile number or mailing address in the Online Application Form.

Candidates must preserve the AIAPGET Admit Card till admission to College. KEA will reserve the right to withdraw any such admission made at any point that does not meet the eligibility criteria/regulations fixed by the Competent Authority from time to time.

Candidates must first visit KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in to register and enter the details online. After completion of the entry, download the Challan and pay the prescribed fees, i.e., Rs.2,000/ for GM,2A,2B,3A,3B & Rs.1000/- for SC/ST and Cat-I (SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A,2B,3A,3B is applicable for candidates of Karnataka only). The filled registration form and copy of the online fees paid challan should be compulsorily submitted along with the other documents at the time of document verification.

The candidates note that rank wise schedule for verification of documents will be notified on KEA Website on 03-03-2023. For round 1 option entry by eligible candidates, publication of mock allotment results, provision to change options, if any by candidates, and publication of first round allotment result will be notified later. The above schedule is tentative and subject to change. Candidates are at this moment informed to keep visiting KEA Website for updates.

Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence –

1. At least three printouts of the finally submitted Online Application

2. Proof of fee paid

3. 3 copies of identical photograph that are scanned and uploaded in the Online Application

Eligibility –

It will be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum marks at the 50th percentile in AIAPGET 2022. Qualifying criteria for candidates belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes, the minimum marks will be at the 40th percentile. For candidates with benchmark disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum marks will be at the 45th percentile for the General category and the 40th percentile for scheduled castes, Scheduled tribes and other backward classes. SC / ST / OBC eligibility criteria apply only to Karnataka SC / ST / OBC candidates.

The candidates should be a citizen of India.

The candidates should have studied and passed the courses leading to the award of a Bachelor's degree in AYUSH, i.e., BAMS / BNYS / BHMS / BUMS in colleges recognized by the National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine (NCISM) or National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) and Government of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India and located in Karnataka State.

Or

Candidate must be of Karnataka origin and has studied Bachelor's degrees in AYUSH, i.e., BAMS / BNYS / BHMS / BUMS in colleges outside Karnataka recognized by the National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine (NCISM) or National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) and Government of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India.

The candidates must have completed the 'Compulsory Rotating Internship' on or before 31st December 2022.

Candidate must be under 45 years of age for non-in-service & 48 years for in-service as on the last date fixed for application submission to the Post Graduate Degree entrance test, i.e., 27th August 2022.

A candidate already holding a Post-Graduate degree in any specialty shall not be eligible to appear for the online seat allotment counselling process for admission to any Post Graduate MD / MS AYUSH degree Course.

A candidate already holding a Post-Graduate Diploma in any specialty shall be eligible for a post-graduate degree course in the same Specialty & shall not be eligible for any other postgraduate degree or diploma courses.

Documents/certificates to be produced at the time of verification –

1. KEA PGAYUSH- 2022 Registration form duly filled (printout) of the online fee paid challan copy as proof for having paid the registration fees.

2. Two Passport Size colour photographs (photograph uploaded to the AIA PGET examination)

3. Photo Identity Proof (PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Passport / Aadhar Card

4. / Ration Card)

5. Admit card & Score Card issued by NTA, New Delhi

6. SSLC or 10th Standard Marks Card (For date of birth)

7. 2nd PUC or 12th standard Marks Card of the Candidate

8. Candidates' Study Certificate: A study certificate from the Head of an educational institution where they had studied. Further, School Study Certificates should be counter-signed by the concerned Block Education Officer (BEO) / Deputy Director of Public Instructions (DDPI) COMPULSORILY in the proforma prescribed

9. BAMS / BNYS / BHMS / BUMS marks card issued by Universities of all Phases/years

10. Qualifying degree certificate. (PDC will be accepted only for candidates who have passed BAMS / BNYS / BHMS / BUMS during 2022)

11. Certificate of internship completion in Annexure I

12. Registration Certificate obtained from Karnataka Ayurvedic and Unani Practitioner's Board or Karnataka Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine or NCISM / NCH Council Registration Certificate (for State quota only). For All India Quota registration in any State Board/ Council or Central NCISM / NCH registration certificate to be submitted

13. All the candidates must also submit an UNDERTAKING on Rs. 20 e-Stamps Paper brought out in the name of the Candidate to the Karnataka Examinations Authority as shown in Annexure II. Only on submission of this document, Candidate's Document verification process is stated to be completed, and they become eligible for allotment of a User ID and Secret Key

14. All the selected in-service candidates at the time of admission shall furnish a bond in form no. 19 specified in KCSRs on stamp paper of value of Rs.100/- binding themselves to pay a sum of Rs.50000/- as penalty in the event of their leaving the course before its completion and also debarred for three years from appearing entrance test

The verification of documents and allotment of seats includes the following stages –

1. Registration of Candidate

2. Verification of Documents & assignment of User ID and Secret Key

3. Entry of Options by Candidates

4. Allotment of seats

5. Downloading of seat allotment Details

6. Remittance of fees and collection of admission orders

7. Admission / Report to the college

Round 2 schedule –

Who has been allotted a seat in the first round, and who may exercise Choice-2 or Choice-3;

Seat not allotted candidates - the candidates who have been allotted a seat in the first round and those who opt for choices 2 or 3, and also those candidates who have not been allotted a seat during the first round should submit their original documents on the dates notified to KEA to become eligible to participate in the second round. The documents' submission dates will be notified on the KEA Website before the second round of online seat allotment.

The following dates will be announced after rounds 1 –

1. Candidates who have been allotted a seat first round in KEA and exercised Choice 2 and paid the fees

2. Candidates who have been allotted a seat first round in KEA and exercised Choice – 3

3. Seat not allotted to candidates in the first round in KEA

4. Rearrangement of options by the candidates eligible for participation in the second round. Candidates should have submitted original documents to KEA

5. Publication of seat allotment result of 2nd Round

6. Payment of fees (please refer to the mode of payment) and Collection of Allotment Order at KEA, Bangalore

7. Last Date for Reporting at the Allotted College

Those who submit the original documents will only be considered for rearrangement of options to become eligible for allotment of seats in the second round. There would be a mop-up round for PG-AYUSH courses, where the candidates who have not been allotted seats in the first or second round would be eligible to participate.
