Puducherry: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has announced the conduction of a stray vacancy round on 27.2.2023 for the candidates who have qualified through INI-SS entrance examination(DM, MCH) conducted by AIIMS Delhi on 6.11.2022 and fulfil all the eligibility criteria as per INI-SS Prospectus.

As per the notice, the counselling will be conducted at t JAC Mini Auditorium, 4th floor, JAC Building, JIPMER. Eligible candidates interested in participating in a stray round of counselling should report in person with all original certificates. Candidates should report from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM on 27.2.2023 for certificate verification and subsequent counselling. Candidates reporting afternoon will not be permitted for counselling.

A total of 17 seats are there for this round. Out of these 17 seats, DM courses have 6 seats, and MCh courses have 11 seats. The detailed seat matrix is enclosed in the notice below.

Eligibility -

1. Candidates should be Indian Nationals.

2. Candidates should have passed MD/MS/DNB degrees from any Institute/University recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

3. The abovementioned degree must be registered with the National Medical Commission/State Medical Council.

4. Candidates should have completed the qualifying postgraduate course on or before January 31, 2023.

5. The Sponsored candidates are eligible to participate in the Stray round of counselling (Please refer to INI-SS Prospectus Part-B, JIPMER, Puducherry for eligibility).

6. All the provisionally deemed eligible candidates who wish to participate must report in person at the venue with original Certificates as per the scheduled date & time. There is no provision for participation in counselling other than in person.

7. Any candidate holding any seat anywhere shall not be eligible to participate.

8. Seats will be offered in the order of merit among the present candidates as per INI-SS communication for the Stray round.

On the day of counselling, candidates must show a print of their INI-SS rank at the registration desk. The candidate will be called for certificate verification inside the hall. After the original certificate verification, the certificates would be returned to the candidates. Candidates would then be allowed to leave the hall and have lunch during this break.

Eligible candidates who have completed their certificate verification should come back to the counselling hall at 2:00 PM to participate in the counselling. The counselling process will start from 2.00 PM onwards.

The candidates need to keep the documents in the order mentioned below -

1. INI-SS Score Card

2. INI-SS Final Registration Slip

3. Downloaded Hall Ticket

4. MD or MS / DNB - Degree / Provisional Pass Certificate

5. Permanent /Provisional Medical Registration Certificate of MD or MS / DNB

6. MBBS Degree / Provisional Pass Certificate

7. Permanent /Provisional Medical Registration Certificate of MBBS Course

8. MD/ MS/ DNB/ MBBS Marks Statement

9. Conduct / Character Certificate from the Institute last studied

10. Transfer / Migration Certificate from the Institute last studied

11. Date of Birth / S.S.L.C. Certificate showing the date of birth

12. Residence Certificate/ Nativity Certificate /Aadhar/Passport/Driving License

13. Photocopies of all Original Certificates

14. COVID – 19 Vaccination Certificate

15. Passport size colour photo – 4 Nos.

Counselling procedure –

1. After the closure of document verification, candidates will be called based on their INI-SS rank. Depending on the vacancy/vacancies, candidates can Opt-in for any available seat or Opt-out of the counselling.

2. After allocating the seats on the day of counselling, medical examination and subsequent admission, the candidates must make NDHM Registration, filling the JIPMER e-form, academic fee payment and Agreement on the following day, i.e., on 28.02.2023.

Tasks to be completed by the candidates who have been allotted seats in the stray round of counselling before reaching the venue on 28.02.2023 –

Fill out the JIPMER e-form by clicking the link, and the printout should be brought upon completion. (Note: Name should be filled as given in MBBS degree certificate)

Complete the fee payment procedure through the SBI Collect payment portal for JIPMER .Choose Academic fee – MCh DM MD MS PDF in the drop menu. Then you have to provide the details of the payment mentioned below -

The fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances. Bring a hard copy of the fee payment receipt on the reporting day.

Mandatory registration in NDHM / ABDM – Health-Care Professional ID Registration is mandatory for all newly joined Junior Residents.

Steps for registration in NDHM / ABDM -

Step 1: Click the below-mentioned link to Register 'Professional Healthcare ID' https://hprid.ndhm.gov.in/

Step 2: Click on 'Create Your Healthcare Professional ID now'. Step 3: Click on 'I am Healthcare Professional'.

Step 4: Click on 'Generate via Aadhaar'. Step 5: Enter your Aadhaar Number.

Step 6: Click 'I agree' & Click on 'Submit'.

Step 7: You will get six digits 'OTP' to your Aadhaar Registered Mobile Number. Step 8: Enter the OTP and Click 'Login'.

Step 9: After logging in, enter your Mobile Number.

Step 10: You will get a 6-digit 'OTP' on your mobile number again. Step 11: Enter OTP & Click on Login.

Step 12: After logging in, create your 'User Name' & 'Password' (Password must be eight characters, Upper case, lower case, Alphanumeric & Special character).

Step 13: Select 'I am Healthcare Professional'. Step 14: Select 'Modern Medicine'.

Step 15: Enter your email address & Click on 'submit'.

Step 16: After Submitting, you will get OTP on your email for verification; after verification, your registration will be completed, and you will receive a 14-digit Professional Healthcare ID number & NDHM Registration ID (ex: gogineni@hpr.abdm.com), take a printout of this page and submit the same at the time of document verification.

Forms are to be printed, filled, and brought to the venue on 28.02.2023 –

1. ID card form – all the fields should be filled and in block letters (Annexure-1)

2. Joining letter (Annexure-2)

3. Joining report format (Annexure-3)

4. Hostel application form (if applicable) (Annexure-4)

5. Honor Code (Annexure-5)

After successful certificate verification, the team will give the candidates a form for Medical Examination. The duly signed Medical Examination report should be submitted to the admission team. The candidates should not fill/write anything on the agreement form except their Name and Father's Name. Page No. 1 – 5 should get signed by Notary Public, and the date of the Agreement should be filled in on the day of reporting.

The following will be issued to the candidate after the successful completion of document verification and Medical Examination -

1. Bonafide certificate (certifying that the institute retains the original documents)

2. Admission order

3. Submit the Hostel application form (if needed). Candidates can avail hostel facility from 28.02.2023 onwards (Subject to availability).
