KEA releases counselling schedule for PG AYUSH admissions, Check out details

KEA releases counselling schedule for PG AYUSH admissions, Check out details

Karnataka: Counselling schedule, rank-wise schedule for verification of documents, documents to be submitted, and information bulletin for PG AYUSH admissions have been released by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

As per the notice, the Online registration can be done from 17th March 2022 till 11.59 pm. Candidates can pay the registration fee till 18th March 2022. The verification process will happen on 21st March 2022 at KEA, 18th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore. The fee structure and display of the seat matrix will be done on 21st March 2022. Medical Examination to Persons with Disability will also happen on 21st March 2022.

Round candidates can do the option entry between 21st March 2022, 6:00 pm till 23rd March 2022, 10:00 am. Mock allotment results will be published on 23rd March 2022, 4:00 pm. Candidates can change the options if they want to between 23rd March 2022, 5:00 pm till 25th March 2022, 10:00 am. Round 1 allotment results will be published on 25th March 2022 after 4:00 pm.

BUMS Candidates –

BAMS Candidates –

Afternoon Session1, 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm

Reporting Time: 1.30 pm

Rank 1 to 6000

BAMS Candidates –

Afternoon Session 2, 4.15 pm – 6.15 pm

Reporting Time: 3.30 pm

Rank – 6001 to last.

Candidates need to submit the following documents for PG AYUSH –

KEA PGAYUSH- 2021 Registration form duly filled (print out) of the online fee paid challan copy as proof for paying the registration fees.

Two Passport Size color photographs (photograph uploaded to the AIA PGET examination)

Photo Identity Proof (PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Passport / Aadhar Card / Ration Card)

Admit card & Score Card issued by NTA, New Delhi.

SSLC or 10th Standard Marks Card (For date of birth).

2nd PUC or 12th standard Marks Card of the Candidate.

BAMS / BNYS / BHMS / BUMS marks card issued by Universities of all Phases/years.

Qualifying degree certificate from Karnataka. (PDC will be accepted only for candidates who have passed BAMS / BNYS / BHMS / BUMS during 2021).

Certificate of internship completion in Annexure I

Registration Certificate obtained from Karnataka or any State Board/ Council or Central NCISM/ NCH.

As shown in Annexure-II, an undertaking on Rs. 20 e-stamp paper brought out the candidate's name to the Karnataka Examinations Authority. Only on submission of this document, Candidate's Document verification process is stated to be completed, and they become eligible for allotment of the User ID and Secret Key.

If claiming reservation category: Caste/Caste Income Certificate issued by Concerned Tahasildar from Karnataka- For SC / ST in Form-D, Category-I in Form-E and 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B in Form-F (In case of married woman, the certificate has to be in the name of candidate along with husband and taking income of spouse).

If claiming reservation under 371(j) (Hyderabad - Karnataka Region): Certificates in the format Annexure-A (eligibility certificate –rule 3(3)) issued by the concerned Assistant Commissioner (format given in brochure - Annexure-IV).

Candidates have first to visit KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in to register themselves and enter the details online. After completing the entry, download the challan and pay the prescribed fees of Rs.2,000 for GM,2A,2B,3A,3B & Rs.1000 for SC/ST and Cat-I. A filled registration form and copy of the online fees paid challan should be compulsorily submitted along with the other documents at the time of document verification.

All the candidates may have to compulsorily undergo biometric verification before registering themselves for the verification process. Candidates who qualify for the biometric verification will only be allowed further processing. The candidates who register their names at the entrance of the registration hall by producing the AIAPGET – 2021 examination admit card are allowed to enter the verification hall.

The candidates should attend in person to verify documents and, if not present on the allotted days, will not be considered. Verification will be conducted per the Rank schedule notified on the KEA website.

Online seat allotment will be done by obtaining the options from AIAPGET Rank holders for admission to PG courses for both in-service and non-in-service quota seats. Seats will be allotted based on the merit priority of options entered by the candidates and subject to the availability of seats in their respective categories.

For the success of the seat allotment, the candidates need to enter the right options. KEA will keep notifying on http://kea.kar.nic.in for updates in seat allocation, so candidates need to keep track of the website.

Any person claiming reservation as the local person will have to submit an eligibility certificate issued by the competent authority. Reservation is made in favor of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes of citizens under categories 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B in accordance with Government Order No. SWL 251 BCA 94 dated 31st January 1995, as amended from time to time.

Candidates allotted a seat either in rounds 1 or 2 must report for biometric verification. After successful biometric verification and photo verification, candidates submit their documents and get admission orders. In every stage of counselling, biometric verification will happen, and any mismatch at any stage will automatically result in the disqualification of the candidate. Candidates need to get biometric verification acknowledgment after the biometric procedure while submitting documents and collecting the admission order.

The details of the fee structure will be decided by the Government and notified on the website, along with the mode of payment. The candidate allotted a seat has to make a fee payment at KEA and deposit his original documents within the stipulated time provided in the allotment letter. SC, ST, and Category-1 candidates do not have to pay the tuition fees. The other backward class candidates have to pay the fees to CET, and they can apply for re- reimbursement from the backward class department.

The allotted seat candidates will have to get admitted to the allotted institute by providing relevant undertakings within the schedule mentioned in the allotment letter. And if they fail to do their seat will be canceled. However, the admission shall be provisional and subject to the Government/Apex bodies/ concerned universities' approval.
