Maha CET Cell Informs About 15% Institutional Quota Seats For PG Ayurved, Homoeopathy, Unani Courses

Maharashtra: Maha CET Cell has informed that 15% of institutional quota seats of Post Graduate Ayurved, Homoeopathy, and Unani courses will be filled by State CET Cell through common counseling for the academic year 2022-23.
As per the notice, the National Commission of Indian System of Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi, vide the above-referred letter, has issued comprehensive guidelines for counseling and admission to Undergraduate (UG- BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) & Postgraduate (PG-MD/MS) courses of Ayurveda, Siddha Unani & Homoeopathy (ASU & H) for the academic session 2022-23.
As mentioned in the guidelines, in the case of 85% State/UT Quota, the seat matrix for government quota, management quota, NRI quota, etc., will be as per respective State and UT policy. However, all admissions in all quotas will be through counseling conducted by State/UT counseling authority.
All the seats under State Quota {including 15% institutional quota seats (Including NRI)} for the Post Graduate Ayurved/Homoeopathy/Unani course will also be filled by State CET Cell through common counseling. Candidates can fill in the choice for such quota through the online preference form and state quota seats.
Candidates who want to apply for institutional quota should fill choice code with the suffix 'N,' and those opting for state quota shall fill choice code with the suffix 'S.'
The government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015.
Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that DMER Maharashtra had announced the provisional recommendation list for social responsibility services (government bond service) for PG (Winter 2022) degree holders. The list includes PRN, Name, Marks, Final BDS (%), Birth Date, and Recommendation Details. 93 PG degree holders are there on the list. Recommendations letters are communicated to candidates on the web portal through login ID. Candidates will have to take the printout of the recommendation letter and report to the concerned allotted institute with the requisite documents within 7 working days from the date of the recommendation letter.
