NTRUHS invites applications for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS admissions 2026, check eligibility, cutoff, fee, all details here

Andhra Pradesh: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) is inviting applications from the eligible candidates who have secured the qualifying cutoff scores in NEET 2026 and fulfilled the eligibility criteria for admission into BAMS, BHMS, BUMS Courses.

The admissions will be made to Competent Authority Quota seats available in Government, Private Un-aided Non-Minority Ayurveda, Homoeopathy & Unani Medical Colleges, affiliated to Dr NTR UHS, Vijayawada for the Academic Year 2026-27 in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

According to the notification issued by the university in this regard, the online registration will be available from 11:00 AM today, i.e. September 9, 2026, to 9:00 PM on September 16, 2026.

The eligible candidates have to submit their application form through online mode only, along with uploading the scanned copies of all relevant original certificates. The same application will be considered for all the rounds of the counselling, including stray vacancies, subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

The application and processing fee is Rs 3,000 for OC/BC and Rs 2,500 for SC/ST.

However, there shall not be any offline admission and admission without counselling or any admissions in contravention; admissions made after the cut-off date by any means shall not be approved and shall be cancelled by Dr NTRUHS/NCISM/NCH.

PROCEDURE

Procedure for filling the online application form and for payment of the Application and Processing Fee through online for BAMS, BHMS & BUMS Courses.

1 The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card / Net Banking.

2 The fee paid by the applicants is not transferable/refundable under any circumstances.

3 Read the Detailed Notification, Prospectus/Regulations carefully regarding eligibility under local and non-local.

4 Visit the website through Internet Explorer 11 version only to fill the application form.

5 The User ID, which will be sent to the registered mobile after entering the basic details, should be noted for further use. The User ID should be kept confidential and should not be disclosed to others.

6 The following Certificates are required to complete the online application process. The certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload. The application fee has to be paid online.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS

1 NEET UG - 2026 Rank Card.

2 Birth Certificate (SSC Marks Memo).

3 Qualifying Exam Certificate (Intermediate Marks Memo OR Equivalent – Grade Certificate not accepted).

4 Study Certificates from 6th to 10th (If a single certificate, upload the same for all years as a PDF file).

5 Study Certificates - Intermediate or equivalent for 2 Years (If a single certificate, upload the same for all years as a PDF file).

6 Transfer Certificate (Intermediate / 10+2).

7 Caste Certificate (If applicable).

8 Minority Certificate issued by Minority Welfare Officer (Muslim Only) (If applicable).

9 Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) valid for the year 2026-27 (Financial year 2025-26) issued by the Tahsildars of A.P. on or after 01.04.2026 pertaining to A.P.

10 Parental Income Certificate/White Ration Card (If applicable).

11 PwBD Certificate (UDID Card and Affidavits in a single file) (If applicable).

12 NCC Certificate (If more than one certificate, scan all into a single PDF file) (If applicable).

13 CAP Certificate (If more than one certificate, scan all into a single PDF file) (If applicable).

The notification applies to Competent Authority Quota seats, including seats remaining after contribution of 15% seats to the All India Quota in Government AYUSH colleges and category-A seats constituting 50% of intake in Private Unaided Non-Minority AYUSH colleges.

MINIMUM AGE

1 Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2026.

2 Candidates who were born on or after 01.01.2010 are not eligible.

3 Age shall be calculated on the basis of the date of birth as indicated in the Board of Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) or Equivalent Examination. d) No upper age limit.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR AYURVEDA (BAMS)- The candidates shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology. The candidates must secure the minimum qualifying percentile in NEET 2026 is compulsory.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR HOMEOPATHY (BHMS)- The candidates shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology. The candidates must secure the minimum qualifying percentile in NEET 2026.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR UNANI (BUMS)-

1 10+2 or its equivalent with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Bio-Technology. The candidates must secure a minimum qualifying percentile in NEET 2026 is compulsory.

2 Shall have passed Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as a subject in the 10th standard or in the 12th standard.

3 A candidate who is not covered under the above clause (b) shall have to study Urdu language along with Arabic and Mantiq Wa-Falsafa (Logic and Philosophy) as a subject during the First professional B.U.M.S session.

4 The syllabus is applicable to the students admitted in the academic year session 2021-22 onwards for 5 years or until further notification by NCISM, whichever is earlier.

The Tuition Fee Structure for the academic year 2026-27 is as fixed by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, the state Merit position of the eligible candidates who applied will be prepared based on the NEET UG- 2026 score & Rank and other eligibility criteria notified hereunder; Scrutiny of uploaded data shall be done by the University and concerned Departmental Officials.

After scrutiny of certificates, a provisional merit list will be released. However, the final merit position will be released after addressing grievances, if any, from the candidates.
